The awareness of conservation In America has
grown in leaps and bounds in the past five years. Oil prices
skyrocketing to $150 was a wake up cal to alternative energy and the
weaning of our country from oil imports. With the election of Barack
Obama a new drive towards enery self sufficiency was born. Billions in
stimulus money is being allocated to wind, solar, clean coal, bio fuels
and natural gas
No longer are enviromentalists a fringe group of
granola eating hippies. Even vast integrated oil companies like Exxon
Mobil and British Petroleum have got in on the alternative fuels act.
